Scott Yegge, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Yegge graduated from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry in 2006. He has expanded training in the areas of esthetic and pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Yegge also received an award for “Outstanding Achievement in the Pursuit of Excellence in the Study of Esthetic Dentistry” from the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

Dr. Yegge grew up in north central Iowa, graduated high school from North Iowa High School in Buffalo Center and attended Waldorf College from 1991 to 1993. In 1996, Scott received a B.A. degree from Drake University.
He attended medical school at the University of Iowa from 1996 to 2000.

Amanda Stewart, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Stewart is a 2006 graduate of the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry. In fact, she was a classmate of Dr. Yegge’s!

Dr. Stewart has expanded training in cosmetic dentistry, treatment planning, implant esthetics and restoration. She also belongs to the American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentists, as well as her state and local dental societies.

Dr. Stewart and her husband Matt have recently re-located to the Des Moines area from Peoria, Illinois, where she has been practicing general dentistry since graduating from dental school in 2006. Dr. Stewart is looking forward to being close to family again and having a dental practice near her hometown of Des Moines.

T.J Williams, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Williams grew up in Parkersburg, IA and graduated from Waukee Senior High School in 2008.
He received his B.B. B. for Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business in 2012.

Dr. Williams served as his dental class president his sophomore, junior and senior years.
A highlight of his awards includes the Brasseler USA Award for Excellence in Restorative Dentistry, Practice Management Award, and a three-time recipient of the Dean’s Leadership Award. Dr. Williams completed his dental education at the University of Iowa in May 2017. He has been with our practice since July of 2017.

Dr. Williams is excited to be back in the greater Des Moines area and start serving his new community of Ankeny!

Gregory C. Brandt, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Brandt is a 1984 graduate of the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry.  Dr. Brandt is a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association and the Des Moines District Dental Society. 
He has had a dental practice in Ankeny since 1984.

Dr. Brandt grew up in Sioux City, Iowa and graduated from Sioux City East High School in 1975.  He attended Morningside College in Sioux City from 1975 – 1977.  Greg earned his B.S. degree from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa in 1980. 

Drew Carlson, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Drew Carlson is a life-long Ankeny resident and Advanced Family Dentistry patient! Growing up, he knew he wanted to work in healthcare thanks to his family role models. Drew’s grandpa, Rodney Carlson, was a family physician in Ankeny from 1965-1999. Drew’s dad, Luke Carlson, has been a physical therapist in Ankeny since 1994. Drew feels extremely blessed to have the opportunity to work in the same community, continuing the family tradition.

Drew graduated from Ankeny High School in 2013 where he was a co-captain for the 2012 Ankeny Hawks State Championship football team. He continued playing football at Central College where he graduated in 2017 with a degree in Exercise Science. Drew went on to graduate from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2021. At Iowa, Drew was engaged with the Christian Medical and Dental Association, tutored new dental students, and volunteered with the Pediatric Dentistry Club on campus. Drew was awarded the American Academy of General Dentistry Outstanding Senior Dental Student Award in 2021. Dr. Carlson will join our team on August 2nd.

Drew enjoys spending his free time hiking trails with his dog (Kuma), traveling, golfing, and most importantly, being with his wife, Cathlin. Drew is excited about bringing a comprehensive, attentive, and caring approach to all patients.
